It all started with a mom and dad, a teething baby, and a problem solving mindset. Leila and Cullen are engineers who are passionate about hands-on projects. Leila, a longtime seamstress and sometime designer, spent many hours using her sewing skills and a little creativity to solve whatever challenge caught her attention. When she wasn't sewing, she could be found with a paintbrush in her hand. Cullen, a military veteran and do-it-yourselfer, spent time researching and honing new skills to enrich the lives of his wife and two sons.

The TerryTeether was born from a need to pacify a fussy teething son while also keeping the dirty kitchen towels out of his mouth. Cullen and Leila brainstormed a bit, tested a few prototypes, and the TerryTeether was deemed the winner by the smallest, fussiest person in the house. The crying and whimpering soon turned to drooling and chewing and most importantly, we had a smiley baby again.

Our TerryTeether is a simple design, containing no plastics or silicones, and is affordable and easily disposable. It is also lightweight, easy to clean and hard to drop with it's attached clip. TerryTeethers are made in the USA of imported materials. We take care to assemble and inspect each teether.  A cared for TerryTeether can last well past the teething stage.
